What I learned

I learned that I definitely don't have a steady hand and a tripod is a must. The last pictures were taken at a low shutter speeds (60,15,4) and you can see how blurry they are. I could have taken a different pic, but decided to leave it as a reminder. :P

Last ones of lesson #1

Argh!

Kids are sure keeping me busy. By the time I have some time to do my homework it's late and dark outside. Finally I managed to run outside of our apartment and snap some more pictures.

Not very creative, but here you go.

Rest of the pics for today

OK, that didn't work that well. I'll try again. I'm not blog-savvy. For some reason pic#1 is on the bottom. But I added the settings on the pics. I hope it's not too confusing.

Here we go. Today I had time to practice and take pictures of 3 out of twelve objects.

They were taken outdoors on our patio at 6pm.

I don't know if we are allowed to sharpen for web in Photoshop or not, but I ran unsharp mask on these (14/40.0/1). I resized using "Save for web" feature. No cropping.

My camera is Canon Digital Rebel. 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Very excited!

I just signed up for MLK Photography course and created this blog to post photos for my assignments. Can't wait to start.
